Wellnest Physio & Rehabilitation Centre
Aqua Therapy
Hydrotherapy
An advanced form of water therapy which uses the healing qualities of warm water to increase mobility, reduce pain, and hasten recovery without any additional strain on joints.
What Is Aqua Therapy?
The Aqua Therapy, or Hydrotherapy, is an advanced method of treatment which involves special pools in which the healing properties of water help exercise without experiencing pain and strengthen the muscles. The weightlessness provided by water allows up to 90% reduction of patient's body weight, so some exercises become possible which might not be done in any other way.
How It Works
The warm water makes it easier for patients to move their body as the pressure on their joints and muscles is reduced; moreover, water resistance automatically strengthens muscles while moving.
