Polytrauma refers to severe injuries involving multiple organ systems, often resulting from road traffic accidents, falls from height, industrial mishaps, or violent trauma. Such injuries commonly affect the brain, spine, chest, abdomen, and limbs simultaneously and require rapid, coordinated, and specialized care.

Symptoms:
Patients with polytrauma may present with one or more of the following symptoms:
Loss of consciousness or altered mental status
Severe head injury or bleeding from head, nose, or ears
Neck pain, back pain, or inability to move limbs
Weakness, numbness, or paralysis in arms or legs
Difficulty breathing or chest pain
Severe abdominal pain or internal bleeding
Uncontrolled external bleeding
Multiple fractures or deformities
Shock symptoms (low blood pressure, rapid pulse, pale or cold skin)
Seizures or repeated vomiting
